Letter of Inquiry
All organizations requesting a grant for the first time from the Price Foundation must begin by submitting a Letter of Inquiry (LOI) of no more than two pages on the organization's letterhead.   

We encourage grantees to submit their  Letters of Inquiry via online submission.  Click here to begin.

The Letter of Inquiry must include the following information:

1.  The organization and its experience in the field.  Please include the year the organization began operating.

2.  What does the organization propose to do; why is the project needed; how will it be administered and by whom; who will be served and where and how will the organization evaluate sucess.

3.  The amount and terms of the grant request (deemed to be a 12-month grant term unless otherwise specified).

4.  What is the total Project/Program and Organization's Budget and what are the sources of income (if possible, breakdown by percentages).

5.  Please include your Tax ID # within the letter.  It is not necessary to attach your IRS tax exemption letter.

Requesting Renewed Support?

All organizations who have previously been awarded a grant are requested to submit a Grant Report on the previously awarded grant along with a renewed request at the same time.  Click here to begin this process.   You may also submit your report and request via regular mail.

The Foundation DOES NOT have deadlines. 

Organizations will receive a response to the Letter of Inquiry within 30 days of our receiving your letter via online submission or regular mail.

We respectfully request you do not call our offices until after the 30 days have passed.

The Foundation's grants vary greatly in their size.  Grants to new organizations are typically between $5,000 and $10,000.
